
Krabs continuously invents new rules for the contest in an attempt to stop Plankton from getting his patty. Krabs turns Plankton's plan on him by actually having him eat the Krabby Patty because of this, the patty ingredients combined with his stomach contents make a rather awful recipe. Krabs puts one on as a way to stall Plankton from getting a Krabby Patty. "Jar of Jellybeans" Contest: With bun seeds instead of jellybeans, but otherwise it is this trope.SpongeBob: Huh, good thing I ordered us extra bu. Krabs disposes of all the buns to prevent SpongeBob from being able to make a Krabby Patty for Plankton, a delivery guy shows up. Krabs struggles to say the word "free" until SpongeBob slaps him on the back. Krabs gives for the contest, would be physically impossible to do so in real life, so most contests have the winner guessing closest to the correct count.

Turns out he has to.Sudden Soundtrack Stop: When SpongeBob is trying to say no to Gary, Gary bribes him by showing the picture he got Gary at the pound the sponge is briefly flattered with a happy tune to match, but once he realizes what's going on, the music suddenly stops as the sponge finally begins to give his word.

"Shaggy Dog" Story: After everything SpongeBob goes through, Gary stops bothering him by just being told "no.".Gary seems to want Snail Bites even after they're discontinued, but once SpongeBob tells him no, he stops, hinting he was testing SpongeBob's inability to be stern. Overly-Long Gag: Gary constantly meowing for more Snail Bites.Then again, Gary possibly made SpongeBob go on this wild goose chase just so he'll be sterner.įactory worker: We're closed!
